Man O Man! What a week where my Bizne$$ was really Ri$ky! I mean Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of sheer spin cycle madness takes a toll. But I'm not complaining, I actually like keep busy all day everyday. It makes me feel good. But since this week has been total DJ madness, it nice to see that we, being the wild n krazy, are taking it slow and throwin a nice smoother side of our musical tastes tongiht. We're doin it Classy and Sassy tonight at Sugar Lounge for our little Shindig Called SUGAR N SPICE. Its gonna be a great event to sit back, relax, grab a drink, a number, a smile, and some laughs. Shit Its FREE as well. So I better see your asses at 377 Hayes tonight!

and here's an ode to the last couple of days!

God damn Niners getting torched by Reggie Bush F*N gets me furious! Dammit, I'm going to have the case of the Mondays. Fortunately my buddies told me to grab some 222 fun to lighten up my day tomorrow, and I said "Fuck yeah". So now I'm telling you that 222 will be a "Fuck Yeah" night cause its "Sir Smoka Lot vs. Sampson". Yes, Cuban B! The Bizne$$ that is Ri$ky will be in effect as usual, with Mike Slice too, so its gonna be good. Get out to the TL Monday night and forget about that stupid football game that happened in the Big Easy, I know I will.

...And people, people. It doesn't end there. This Tuesday, Decemeber 5th, We'll be rocking AZUL Tuesday night, I'll tell you more about that one later. Then the day after that, Wednesday, we're travelin to the Eastbay at the lovely spot called LUKAS where I'll be providing you the quality beats for the night. Sorry again with that one, more TBA.

But as for this past weekend, which housed a wonderful variety of things to do: HAYES STREET FESTIVAL, HUFXREDCLAY PARTY, HIGH TEK, ETC. Here's my recap:

Eddie Raskel is rocking the Decks this weekend at the Battle of the Bay Event that Huf and Red Clay are throwing. Check him out as he laces you with some crazy tracks!






On to other business, Ri$KY biz that is, is gonna be all together this Friday Night @ Huf for the HAYES STREET festival. Get drunk, crunked, twisted, swirved or whatever you want to call it on the street! How fun!


With all the hoopla happening around me these days, I haven't really got to post too much new stuff. Here's what happened last week!

Last week for me was a real F'n nonstop for me, doing my daily thing and getting ready for Ringside, this thursday, got to be real time consuming work. But thats the good thing people, I want to tell you that there is mad hard work putting this night together and making sure it will be dope and memorable. So thanks for all my hardworkers out there. And to my people comming this thursday, you will be treated out most definitely visually with some classic boxing action and musically with very talented DJs.

The Highlights last week was real dope though. Homebase @222 Club last Monday was crackin and I hope yall can come back again on the 22nd for another dose of Monday madness. THAT IS MONDAY NOVEMBER 22ND @ THE 222 CLUB ON 222 HYDE STREET BTW EDDY& TURK, god damn thats alot of twos. Happy Birthday to Crykit last monday by the way! PAC's Cultural Expoure last Friday was real crazy as well where There was Mad Crazy artists bustin up their spots @ the San Jose Musuem of Art. TiPP and I were lacing the decks with a crazy set that was pretty off the wall. I Also checked out you Riot folks at Bill Grahmn, didn't go in but from the outside it looked crackin. My Wallet wasn't so happy though cause I had to break bread on sunday and copped a new board for the mountain this season, can't F'n wait to go up this year. Also the Niners won so that puts a nice taste in ending the week.

Shit, you guys probably think that this was a waste of your time to read about my chummy week. Man, Fine! I'll start posting pictures then from now on or something. Get you people entertained some way. Geez! But back to business, I'll just tell you guys plain and simple: THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16TH, RINGSIDE @ SUGAR LOUNGE BTW GOUGH AND FRANKLIN ON HAYES IN THE SFC. Come on... pass by, have a drink, meet a friend, fall in love all over again with going out on a Thursday night. I'll tell you that it will definitely be a good time out. What's Up Yall, It looks like the fine people of the PACIFIC ARTS COLLECTIVE is throwin together a very fine and special event! It's going down on Friday November 10th @ THE SAN JOSE MUSEUM OF ART. Where do I come in you ask? Well I'll tell you that Tipp and I are working on something special for that event. I don't want to give any details yet cause we are still putting it together. But, I can tell you that you'll see and hear some quality kuts with a dose of "SHIT YOU NEVER HEARD BEFORE" and hopefully give to you a memorable show. I'll tell you guys more about it later. The First Post...


Today is my first post using "blogger". I'm a newbie to this so bare with me. Well the reason I'm posting this Blog for is because I'm DJ Ant-1 and I want yall to get to know me. I'll give you a quick rundown of my bio, I'll keep it quick and will try to explain my history better in the future.
I've been DJing for almost about 10 years now in the San Francisco Bay Area, started way back in 96' and I still can't believe its been that long. I consider myself a Hip Hop DJ, and I guess you could call me a Turntablist, I just don't want to be labeled and generalized just as that cause I want to do more than that. Always wanted to scratch when I started, did the mobile thing to learn to mix, and did the whole scratch crew thing as well. These days, I just want to see the bigger picture of where music can take me, so I'm grasping the whole making music thing now. I understand that you still got to put yourself out there to get that exposure, so that's what i'm trying to tackle now.
So that's that... Now to get to the things of today:
